It was only a matter of time until the AR potential leaked into skateboarding like this. It's a cool idea for sure, not for me, but I always like seeing how different technologies like this can be implemented.
If you could adjust skater size to be more "realistic" to the spot (i.e. standing far enough away from a 9 stair rail and make your player appear life size to skate the rail) it could get really interesting.
