Slap posters are medievalists who frequent Renaissance Faires, and they like to use historically accurate locutions, such as "m'lady" and "my liege." So instead of "Gino rides for chocolate," they strongly prefer "Gino of Chocolate," similar to Frodo of the Shire or Boromir of Gondor, etc. Not only is this phraseology period friendly, it's also more linguistically efficient, shaving off an average of one to two words when compared to more prolix modern speech.
