Loved it. Great skating. Classic Alien vibes as you said. Focused on the team and selling a product. I know a lot of people will hate that but whatever at the end of the day all companies need to make money.

Cool edit. Hot take: I fuck with AWS 2.0. The team is sick, the shapes are nice and the graphics are tasteful.

Severely lacking Joey Guevara and Yaje tho

Love to see some local Columbia, SC spots in a workshop video. Shout out Lizard's Thicket. I think Alien has a pretty sick team right now and would love to see a full length with this roster.

It’s dead forever, all we have is 2.0. Alien from 2009-2012ish was my favorite team but we gotta let them go.

I hope this is a sign of them doing more with this team, it’s been so disjointed since they first came back. Would have like some Guevara footage. Is Nguyen still on? I feel like he moved to Japan and gave it up

Classic Alien in the sense that Frankie has Lennie Kirk style without the quirky, endearing qualities of AWS-era Lennie Kirk.

KEVIN LIEDTKE!
I was thrilled when I saw that they were introducing Kevin Liedtke and when I saw Jordan Powell I was thrilled. Liedtke is my favorite out of the Sabotage guys and feel he's been sometimes overlooked so I'm stoked that he's getting his shine and tht it's with Alien. I fuck with them heavy and the roster they have right now is so dope and I feel that they have figured out how to do their Alien style of videos with the more digital and modern look.

I loved skating that spot back when I lived closer to durham. Watching what goes down on it now is incredible. I’m sure you know who I’m referencing

Classic Alien vibes
i dunno, i think the vibe is less “classic alien” and more “zombie alien 2.0 but still solid”

Did Phelps actually back any of these dudes on the new alien? A bit weird for them to use phelps on an alien workshop graphic. Maybe he used to back alien really hard back in the day or something. Just thought the Phelps graphic was odd to do, even though it looks pretty sick. Im not against the collab though. All and all its pretty sick imo.

They're saying "we don't have permission from Phelps". I'm saying we don't need permission from Phelps. We're allowed to slam his image into any collab because he ain't got no soul

Tyshawn should've bought Alien and rebranded instead of starting his own thing.

People have to accept that this IS alien workshop. (Not saying anyone has to like it) This teams now been on as long as the team they had before it ended. If you're missing the memory screen or timecode team should probably call this alien 6.2 or whatever instead of 2.0

after watching this and the alien edit. I came to the conclusion that Sammy Montano has a damn good half cab flip!

This was cool - Alien means a lot to me. They are sort of my coming-of-age brand, in that I got obsessed with them around the same time that I thought that skulls and cartoony graphics were for little boys. Alien has a vibe, and I honestly think that vibe has survived into their 2.0 version.

And I like the team :)

The guys at Thrasher think I’m just some dumb hick. They said that to me at the SOTY awards.
