Natural Koncepts has never kooked it

Ehh... I'd argue being the Arizona iced tea skate team and being run by someone who unironically uses "radical" in the nickname they gave themselves is kind of inherently kooky.

Not shitting on them, love their vids and boneStalone is the best skater that no one knows, but they don't belong anywhere near a greatest company discussion.

Look if Birdman didn't decide to start doing those evil price point boards, you'd have yourself a valid argument there. Same goes for any other company putting that shit out.

I think Toy Machine changed skating into the thing it kinda still is today.

I can definitely look back at my life as a skater and label parts of the timeline  "Pre-Welcome to Hell" and "Post-Welcome to Hell". That video was a fucking game changer.
I don't think a video will ever be able to instantly change the game like that again, skating is a lot more splintered now and there's so many avenues to watch videos and so many videos dropping all the time. Back when WTH came out you were lucky if your local shop got one new video a month.

Agree, but I'd argue Video Days and Questionable were pre and post type game changers also.

101, died before it got too wack

Definitely 101 for this reason.
Anti-Hero or Baker are the greatest skate companies that are still in business.

Blind when it was Mark, Jason, Rudy and Guy.

I was tempted to say this too (bLind 1989-1991) or include the Tim & Henry era (1989-1993), but that's leaving out almost 30 years of it being a shell of its former self. Don't forget poor Jordan Richter, Danny Way’s brief stint before going back to H-Stret to prep/steal for a Plan B launch, and that Jovantae was the first official am.

my favourite company of all time is 101, but is it the greatest of all time?

Surely another one did more for skating.

Ermico was Fausto, Spitfire, Thunder, Venture, Deluxe, High Speed, Thrasher, Supercush and more... pretty much anything that came from Fausto and I am surprised this is not more widely known. And correct me if I am wrong, Indy and Santa Cruz/NHS were partnered with Ermico early on as well. Indy was created in the Ermico factory, NHS only distributed them.

Seeing this made me realize that I want There to do a series of Hook-Ups rip-off graphics, making all the girls gender queer.
