This is similar to the way a friend of mine who skated got killed.
He and his father stopped to clear a partially fallen branch off the road they were driving on.
Another loose limb fell and killed him, seventeen years old.
Always had the sickest boards, I distinctly remember him showing up at school with a Jason Lee Burger King slick with Ventures.
Watch out for trees...
