I'd love to have that deck. Damn shame.

Imagine hanging out with Billy Idol — That's got to be epic.  I really like Billy. Out of all those dudes Billy is still out there making music and performing. I wanted to recommend his latest album, but I realized it's almost a decade old now! Time flies. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic record for any fan. Blah blah blah, Get your shit together Bam.

I met Billy Idol back in 2006 in California. He shared the same practice space as my brother's band and we went there one night to drop off their equipment after a show, and Billy and some other dude were just chilling there.  They were in the process of recording a Xmas album for Best Buy. I wasn't expecting to see him there, so I was in shock.  But he was the nicest dude and asked us if we wanted to listen to what he was working on.  If I remember right, he showed us a rough cut of "Frosty the snowman". It was such a surreal and rad moment

One month isn't that long. Maybe for him it is an eternity, but either way, that's good. It should stay like that.

We've all been front row to this recurring show. Brighter days approach, bridges get rebuilt. He'll snag a few interviews, and oh, that reissue deck? It's happening. He'll bask in the glow, toast to success, and—splash—back into the mud we slide. But who knows? This encore might surprise us. As G.Dubs once said “There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

They say it takes like 7 attempts on average for people to kick. It’s not like an instant thing. Hope it works this time.

What would help is if the skate industry doesn’t throw him a bone just for a month of sobriety like they did the last time.

One month ain't shit but it's better than nothing. It's not like he's even a hardcore drug addict like Novak. He just likes to drink and take his Adderall. Sometimes it takes several rehabs to get sober but Bams been to like 9 rehabs and has all the resources and support. He should've gotten sober a long time ago. I don't wish addiction on anyone but at the same time it's kinda hard to feel bad for Bam at this point.
