SLS switches from Youtube to Rumble, a platform famous for its "free speech" anti-censorship ideology. What bothers me most about this is thinking of all the 8th grade drop outs who wanna watch SLS and then get sucked down the right-wing pipeline faster than Andrew Cannon can say "WOW MIND BLOWING".

So there's only one event this year that's in two weeks or so and then it will be on YT maybe the following day if not later that day. I'm not sure they thought this through. This is really irresponsible. I feel like the skate industry really doesn't give a fuck who it aligns itself with. The whole attitude of "ayy skateboarding's so chill man, it's all good" leads to airheads like P-rod signing off on shit like this because nobody cares about the bigger picture and only care about expanding their own slither of the industry, and corporate cunts who don't give a shit about anything can take advantage of them. It also means young skaters are particularly susceptible to right wing ideology that yammers on about "frEed0m".

Slap has such a bad rep but it's one of the only skate related platforms where there's actual real discourse going on. On Instagram you'll get flamed just for trying to raise a discussion point because it's full of fucking bozos who think critical thinking is for nerds.
