It's funny because every New York curb skater I've met pines for the metal or granite curbs of NYC.

I only know socal curbs and never been to NYC but if I were going to go I would hang out at a bus stop on state street by an old brick church and wait for a sighting of our GodFather

Pier 76 has a curb that a someone rub-bricked and lacquered up. It is very fun and is my after work spot most nights.

Blue Bloods curb in Greenpoint isn't bad (Jewel/Calyer), as long as there's no equipment blocking it.

my favorite curb spot is borough hall. not exactly a slappy spot but still low impact fun with lots of space to spread out, and no cars.
