Spencer had an ad and some video stuff from us in 2022 when he officially got on.  I think early in 2022 when we launched the NM425 white one.  We also did a bunch of POP with him for in-store ads up in his zone of BC.

From pure speculation, I feel it safe saying he’s on. That pic of him with the Boss, that dude who’s am for April but would be pro on any other company, and Patrick Praman (who should be pro too, and has been on for a while) is kind of telling. Also Tom K. Commenting Wu Balance on that IG post, as well as the fact Justin was fully on Vans, it’s hard to think he wouldn’t be fully on NB#

Its cool to see a company actually put more money back into the smaller divisions after having a really good couple of years instead of going the Nike/vans route and cutting budgets despite  record profits the last few years .

Vans sales are down 13%, hence the cutting.

I'm in London, UK, and New Balance are everywhere, especially in the wealthier demographic. They must be doing well at the moment.

Not weird. Vans has been blowing it quite some time. I think the damn Daniel era really fucked them up. That corporate bs got to them. NB ain’t corporate, they’re privately owned. A lot less cooks in the kitchen. They make the best shoes and are assembling the dopest team in skating.

Of course New Balance is a corporation, and a multinational one with billions in revenue at that. Being privately owned has nothing to do with that. New Balance is just as corporate as any of the other big shoe brands, there's just no public shareholders. You make it sound as if New Balance was some upstart company sticking it to the man while its owner, Jim Davis, is a multi-billionaire and one of the hundred richest people in the US. He IS the man.
