Nico gets a lot of love here in the Bay Area. Probably one of those "who you know" situations but props for him getting on the cover regardless. He is definitely your new age skater as far as fame and what not. He has more followers than the whole Lakai team combined. I bet he'd sell boards more than your favorite pro. Surprised no one has pulled the trigger on giving him one as an investment to their company.

People don’t realize how big illegal civ and associates really were for young kids. Some 22 year old girl on a flight back from London last year was like you skate? You know illegal civ and specifically nico.

This is pretty left field though , always thought it was interesting he’s been fully on lakai for like nearly decade with zero footage for them .
