Wilmington DE/ Philly spots

I just moved up here in time for muni to shut down. Looking for some nice ledge and some bank spots, anything fun. All assistance is much appreciated.

there's that plaza downtown in wilmo that MDN skates in the hopps vid

7th st DIY is fun

in philly:

library ledges/shakespeare
9th st DIY
cecil (i think? i never went there and i moved away a while ago)

the fun part of skating in philly is finding ur own stuff but thats just me. there's cool stuff every second or third block

I would not go to Shakespeare until fall with this heat. That spot is directly in the sun with no shade.

9th and Poplar is shaded, but the ground is weird.

Cecil’s the best of the 3.

Roxborough diy is great too, but also in the sun.

Thanks dudes, I’ve been to 7th street DIY a decent amount and really like that place. 9th street is cool too for sure. Been seeking out some street spots and there’s definitely some gems, can’t wait for this heat to cool off most definitely and I say that as a person from the South

Macys ledges across the street from City hall in Philly are always fun. Some small stuff at City hall that’s fun too if you hit it quick and leave. Ledges across the street from Free library and some minor spots around the area thereabouts if you dig around.

I always liked those Marconi Plaza ledges on South Broad.  Low, grind perfect, zero bust factor.

Rodney Square is the plaza someone mentioned in Wilmington.  I remember hearing they were going to remodel it but I always loved that spot, assuming it's still there.  No idea the current bust situation.

People will likely laugh at this, but if you are new to town and haven't been there, just skating around near penns landing, south street, south Philly not deep can be fun.  ALot of the classic spots skate stopped, but still fun stuff to hit and in my experience going back to the area can end up running into other skaters, skating random cellar doors etc

I just traveled there from VA to see the Adidas demo. Just got back today. Wilmington's DIY and official park are both sick af. I went to FDR as well, which is a work of art. Skateboarding's Mona Lisa. That place is fucking crazy.
