Just listened to a couple of their songs.  For anyone curious about the band, don’t bother.  Aural torture like I can’t begin to explain.

I really wanna know what about them bothers you to the point where you gotta describe em like that. They’re basically just a depressing, catchy jazz band to me. Is it the singing? What songs did you listen to?

Drumming wise, yeah. They love to play around with 5/4 and different compound time signatures. Everything else is just typical midwest emo

Is this one of those early oughts bands that did the singing/screaming thing? There was so much singing and screaming back then.

Dont know the band or care to hear the music but the idea of people coming together to buy a property with some historical significance and prevent box condos from being built is pretty cool.

also fuck Mikey Taylor

i believe "jazz" did come from "jizz", meaning that kind of music was played in brothels. i learned that in my history of rock music class in 2006, and don't want to look up if that's true or not because i want to believe

I’m not gonna sit here and pontificate about what constitutes a jazz band. Go listen to Allan Holdsworth if you wanna be an elitist. The AF guy plays with a jazzy feel imo. Also LOL @ jizz rock

This is Jizz, according to George Lucas:
