New guys have potential, Toby was exciting to watch.  Agree on the above Nikolai comment, I mean he killed it, but wasn’t feeling the trick selection that much.  Tanner, on the other hand, is unreal.  Such good style, rad and unpredictable tricks, he’s one of their top dawgs rn for sure.  Grant is a treasure indeed.

The clips of them all smoking on the workaholics roof is funny wonder how they pulled that off. Skits were top tier. First five minutes I was thinking wknd might be the only company anymore who makes fun videos without being overly cheesy like crailtap or enjoi got .

Whatever happened to salomon like he’s clearly still friends enough to do the skit why did he just dip ?

 Skating is top tier. It’s 11:45 and my knees is so done I can only slappy curbs on the way back from the liquor store but damn this video made wanna go skate so bad. Cured my depression.

I mostly checked this out cause I have 2 WKND boards on ice and know nothing about the company. They're the Andrew Considine black sun boards and I saw many of them in this video so that was kinda cool. Was even one up on the wall in the Nikolai skit. I also unashamedly enjoyed his part way too much. Probably because that's how I wish I could skate... Enjoyed the whole video and the silly skits too though.

shintaro and tanner parts were great. really well made video all around. i liked nikolai’s part, he’s got like a neo-osiris thing going on. most of the skits were pretty funny, but “old white person using slang” is such a tired concept, don’t think that ever needs to be done again.

I think wknd has a history of putting on friends, and then realizing later that being good friends with someone doesn’t mean being a good fit for the company. I can see how it could get messy. I think Alexis and Austin were friends with Grant and some other guys

The editing on Nicolis part was top tier near perfect with the music, all the editing in general was amazing.

What led you to also want to quit WKND?

It was so long ago now, but at the time, I was just beginning to feel distant from the brand. I started hanging out with a lot of other people, started working at Palace and just kind of realized that staying on WKND forever might not be for me.

Call me old fashioned but I think they nailed it - this feels so familiar and true to form of what a skate video is to me, but also modern and showcasing some incredible skating. 10/10

Damn I didn’t realize he got on somewhere else. I had last seen his name on a huf ad a few years back and just assumed he just ended up leaving the industry . I’ll check it tonight. Thanks!
