I used to get the $2.99 20 piece nugget from the old McDonald’s across from Muni every day after skating Love.

We also used to save our cups and refill there.

Why would you EVER go to mcdonalds when you have options like In n Out in most states? Mcdonalds in the USA is pure shit. Fwiw the quality of food from mcdonalds in australia is significantly better in my experience
[close]

There are far fewer In N Outs and the lines are always long (albeit efficient). Basically for people who don't have time to get real food.

Who is so busy that he have no time for real food?

@dustyassrocketswitchv  Haven’t tried the chicken Mac but that’s how I feel about the McCrispy, shit is so ass.  Little dry ass chicken puck on a weird burnt chemical tasting Brioche bun.  How can they even release that thing as their “crispy chicken sandwich” when you’ve got KFC, Popeyes, Mary Brown’s, etc in a completely different league.

I'm curious about the McPlant, can any fellow meat eaters speak on its comparative deliciousness?

I try to limit how many times I go to McDonald's in a month and I really don't wanna waste one of those visits on a McPlant if its vile.

Every time I go to a wedding I purchase 2 McChickens on the way there to preemptively soak up the alcohol.  It’s a move than never fails.

The amount of people who eat McDonlands on a monthly basis is crazy to me.

I've eaten there like 5 times in the last decade and 2 of those times were in Japan which was not what it was hyped up to be. At least their ice cream machine worked...

Mcdonalds is pretty bad for the most part, i eat fast food once in a while but mcdonalds is the worst one imo. The breakfast is actually decent but expensive for what you get

I ate McDonalds for the first time in a long ass time today, and it left me feeling nauseous and shitty.

I was prepping a pork loin and I broke out in cold sweats. Fuck McDonalds!

Best fries
[close]

Pound for pound, Five Guys fries are cheaper and much better.

$4.19 for large fries at McDonald’s! Compare that to $5.55 for regular fries at Five Guys. You basically get two potatoes worth and malt vinegar and peanuts!!!

McDonald's is comfort food for me because of all the childhood memories eating there. But I too have mixed feelings about it. When I eat there now it's usually not as good as I remember it being as a kid. And I agree with other posters that the overseas McDonald's are usually better. They keep their restaurants cleaner and have unique menu options that are pretty good.

My mom sent me a video of someone calling it Dick Monald's and that's all I think about when I see it now. Hashbrowns are amazing and I enjoy their buffalo sauce.

Actually, my biggest McDonalds pet peeve is how they switched from Newman’s coffee, to their house brand.

Massive drop off in flavor and quality there.

Also, beef tallow made for a much much better French fry. Super Size me kinda fucked up McDonald’s game.

I don't know, here in Europe we have the metric system so MacD is probably totally different than in the US.

The beer thing is true though, at least used to be, haven't tried a French one in ages.

What do they call a whopper?

i thought it was pretty funny when it came out recently that "Super Size Me" was basically a hoax, and most of the ill effects he experienced were due to his undisclosed severe alcoholism and resulting alcohol withdrawl while he filmed the "documentary"

McDonalds had ¥100 chocolate iced milkshakes. So cheap so good. For some reason, about 10 years ago they stopped selling it.
