Absolutely timeless.

Any of his 5Boro stuff is amazing but I can always watch this ^^^^

The part where it goes color around 2:04 , the money toss and the beat comes in…perfection.

sick post @GumOnMyGrip , definitely agree. I remember watching Join, Or Die on Repeat when it came out and 5BNY was on the same level.

watching the lineups for these videos is insane, they held down so many AM riders that got more recognition years later (like Trahan, Kevin Rodrigues... even Ben Chadourne). 5boro is the farm team. Not to mention dozens of NY legends like Gonyon who never really were pushing for a traditional pro career, but did do some of the most fucked tricks on NY spots to date (like Gonyon backside flip the flushing fountain).

Tombo seemed to avoid some of the NY music cliches too, adding some rock and punk in there to contrast with the boom bap.

living in NY now I will say it is a little strange to have multiple videos of like, subway and the manhattan skyline b-roll. it's a little on the nose. but it doesn't get in the way at all and other parts, like Gonyon skating through ridgewood at the start of his part, are a little more subtle

Tombo was the first filmer who i actually recognized. He filmed for my local shop back in the day, so I was always a fan. He definitely picked out some good music, and any of the anomalously bad songs were usually the skater’s demand.
