sharing skateboarding as interest is such a strange thing because you really do meet and interact with some people you would otherwise have nothing to do with. i have definitely met some putrid people through skateboarding.

This thread feels like bad taste to me. What he did was wrong, there’s no way around it, but I can’t help but feeling like he’s already paid the ultimate price in being banished from a community that was once his entire life and identity…that can’t be easy. I mean if we can have empathy for those effected by his poor choices can we also not have a little empathy for his situation wether deserved or not? I mean he’s a human being and that’s some scummy shit no doubt but we all have made mistakes and done things we regret. He faded out instantly, yes by his sponsors but also no social media or Daryl Angelesque attempts to hang on…seems he accepted his punishment. Why are we bringing up old shit? Because his name was briefly mentioned in a video online? Seems petty to me considering the situation. I’m sure I’ll catch heat for this opinion but whatever most of y’all are fried anyway.

There is no coming back from his situation but he did handle the post-cancellation well.

This take is based af in normal society. Compassion is great.  But on slap, where the only currency is shit talking, old wounds are bound to come up. This thread is far from public slander - it's just the community who exiled him mulling over the fact and wondering where he went.
