Sony vx700

I was curious I searched but haven’t found anything.
Does the vx700 and 1000 share the same ribbon cable? I blindly bought a 700 on eBay and wanted to have my bases covered just in case! Thanks y’all!

I cannot speak on the 700, but the 1000 has quite a few ribbon cables on the inside. Is there a specific cable you're referring to? Maybe the viewfinder ribbon?

I believe you talk about the viewfinder ribbon cable, it seems to be the same (FP-217).
