"Equalizer 3" was pretty weak, imho. I liked the first one and thought the second was serviceable (love that scene where he tells Pedro Pascale that he's gonna kill him then picks up Pascale's kid all friendly-like and gets in the car with his wife).
So I was there opening night. But, respectfully, I think Denzel might be getting too old to be an action star, which is understandable as he's almost 70.
Most of his kills in this film are off screen (or you can't really make him out doing the killing). And I feel like the injury his character incurs in the opening of the movie was just a plot device to excuse Denzel looking frail and hobbling around slowly on a cane.
I watched some press interview he did a few months back and he seemed like his health wasn't great there either (reminded me of Biden giving his speech on the Maui fires).
If you want to finish the trilogy, check it out, but I think you can wait until it hits streaming.
