Mark Gonzales Vision Board - How to Spot a Re-issue vs Original?

Some random dude rolled up on me at the parking trying to sell an "original" Vision Gonz deck from the 80s.

How would one tell if it was real?

I would say the situation makes it seem like it’s not an OG deck. Unless they’re a crackhead who just stole one and is slanging it for quick drug money, most collectors with items like that would be more meticulous about how they sell items of that rarity.

I saw a dude selling stickers to make it say Mark Gonzalez, so definitely look carefully at that.

First Gonz had front rear wheel wells, 2nd had front only, 3rd had the screen print cut out for wheel wells but no wheel wells, 4th had no wells and full screen print over that area. 5th was a new shape(gonz & roses).
As stated, the repop says ‘the original’ instead of Mark Gonzales, also beware the cover up stickers for that(again as stated previously).
If you need pics I’m pretty sure I have all of them except the front/rear wheel wells.

Shoot, I’m 32. I was researching some old vision stuff because an old psycho stick complete landed in my hands in a similar way. some components seem like head scratchers like venture trucks, cell block risers, Indy copers. It’s quite the Frankenstein ensemble but the graphic is in great condition. I don’t really collect like that, but it’s cool
