Progressive Rock songs in skate videos are long overdue. I would lose my shit if someone skated to Genesis "Back in NYC", Yes "Heart of the Sunrise", King Crimson "Fallen Angel"/"One More Red Nightmare"/"In the Court of the Crimson King" etc.

It would be fun to see skating to 7/8 or 9/8, regardless of tempo.

I forgot to mention another 70’s Prog joint dying to be used to score an epic part—Genesis “The Knife”. I’ve always pictured it in some 90’s/00’s style final part a la early Plan B vids, Toy or Zero vids, or something like Reynolds Baker 3. A long ass part with insane hucking and buck shit.

No, they do not. Generally speaking, the way licensing like this works on YouTube is that the monetization of the videos goes to the music license holders. Some bands like Guns and Roses have a strict no-YouTube policy, and some artists have other arrangements with video producers. But yeah, Lakai can basically put any music they want in their video with the understanding that a company representing the music license holder can and likely will make a claim towards the proceeds of ad sales from the video.
