I moved here not too long ago either, there's already a old Portland, ME thread in this Travel section with some good info but lately there have been more parks built/expanded on in the area. South Portland skatepark is brand new since the spring and is now mostly quiet now that the Portland skatepark just got it's expansion done. Both parks are a lot of fun with a mixture of chill street stuff and transition. If you go around downtown there are a lot of good spots, you would probably like the ledges at corner of Deering St and Mullen since people don't bother you there. Would also recommend checking out Sal's skateshop in South Portland they're really nice dudes there and have welcomed outsiders like me and would be happy to give you suggestions.
