Guess KC’s receivers forgot how to catch the ball. Great win for Detroit.

Amazing game. Thought for sure , KC gonna march down the field like they always do. The running back combo of Montgomery & Gibbs gonna make this team competitive for sure along with that power unit OLine

Agreed. Great game to start the season. I’ve even said way before the season started that Detroit will probably surprise a lot of people this year. Even last year they were kind of low key underdogs that barely missed the playoffs.

We all think about Kelce out & the receivers just dropping easy catches didn’t even consider the OC wow. Super heavy statement didn’t even consider . Wow you might be onto something …

Matt Nagy single handedly might end the Chiefs dynasty … so praying for this . Trouble in Paradise

Edit: damn after reflecting , the chiefs such a mess now . They started throwing Clyde Edwards in during panic mode to see if something happens. Always felt like he got shafted last season

Gotta love the David Montgomery types who get perpetually overlooked and never hyped up but just quietly consistently perform at a high level. The bears are good at finding those guys...Forte was the same way. I hope he tears shit up in motown.

Fuc* The Cowboys

Gotta vent … Cowboys what a joke, always thought that my whole life.  So invested with watching football all day from the AM. After that Bengals game early . So deflated,  stopped watching football  for the rest of the day. Such a blessing . Gotta a bunch of home projects done & stuff accomplished to prepare me for the upcoming week . Literally gotta a drink in the kitchen … Cowboys up 40-0 . This meaningless… seriously like some wrestling posture shennanigans. IDGAF. I hate the Giants too nevertheless they finish better than the Cowboys at season’s end . Cowboys trash always been trash

As a Jets fan I couldn’t fucking believe it. That is the most Jets thing that could ever happen.

But our defense is rock solid. Whitehead getting 3 picks and Garrett Wilson’s catch was insane. Great win tonight.

You do know RIP is used when someone has died, not just when you want someone to rest peacefully

Breece is going to be a problem if he can stay healthy.

Maybe Zach Wilson will pull a Mac Jones and start slinging.

not sure if you're being sarcastic, Tiba. if not, then yes, I know that RIP is used when someone has passed.

i was exaggerating and used RIP as a representation of the hopes and dreams of Jets fans around the world quickly dying.

There's slo-mos on Twitter where you can fully see his Achilles tear off the bone. He's done.

He didn't even make it through his first drive. I don't want to pile jets fans on but just as a neutral third party it's kind of funny. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy though. Can't wait for the inevitable podcast where he'll try to blame it on some conspiracy to weaken his Achilles with chemical weapons or mind rays or something.

Yeah there’s something darkly hilarious about the coronation they were giving themselves with the HBO show and all this shit.   I think I would be happy if the Jets finally won the SB again but due to zero Aaron Rogers involvement

Not a good look for Joe Burrow after signing that big contract.

He's been my fantasy QB for a few years now and he was pretty mediocre on opening day last year too... I think he needs reps to find his rhythm but now that he doesn't play preseason he doesn't get as many. Plus he missed a good bit of camp with the injury this year...If there's one QB in the league I'm not worried about right now, it's Burrow.

Now, Kenny Pickett on the other hand...all the hype and he still has yet to show that he's got either a higher ceiling or can provide more consistent production than his backup (Trubiskey...who actually has a pro bowl season under his belt). Dude throws some of the absolute worst picks I've seen since Nathan Peterman.
