Poor Chubb man. Dudes one of my favorites, sad to see him go down so early in the season with what seemed like a pretty serious injury.

Yeah he's the first Brown I've liked/respected for a long time, and I know I'm not the only yinzer who feels that way. I think he's been the best pure runner in football for the past few years and you never want to see someone so incredibly talented go down like that.

Pretty sure that's the knee he blew out in college that made some people hesitant to draft him too, so I think the fear is he tore everything again. From the way it was bent I can't imagine the support structures aren't damaged if not destroyed, plus the way he didn't really react until he tried to move it and then started screaming makes me wonder if it wasn't pain he was responding to but the realization of what just happened.

Pickett was abysmal but man Watson looked so shit too. Totally worth the guaranteed 230mil they gave him....couldn't happen to a nicer guy or classier organization.

Roethlisberger always maintained his innocence, was never convicted of or even charged with anything, and only settled with one. That's not even getting into the fact that the lake Tahoe one was more or less proven to be a hotel employee trying to cash in after hooking up with him. She named 9 people in her lawsuit but somehow failed to remember that she'd openly bragged about sleeping with him and how she was hoping she had gotten pregnant to several coworkers prior to deciding to file her lawsuit. The Georgia one was also bullshit according to all of the bartenders and witnesses there, and when you read their accounts it sounds a lot more like a drunk sorority girl who got jealous that she wasn't the only chick trying to hook up with him that night. There's a reason that case got thrown out the second they actually went in front of a judge. Regardless of your personal biases, a reasonable person has to at least entertain the possibility that he's innocent. Regardless, he lost several endorsements over it and clearly learned his lesson about putting himself in those situations.

Watson on the other hand preyed on potentially hundreds of women he assumed were sex workers (despite many of them actually being licensed masseuses and PTs), continued to harass them even after they made it clear they weren't interested, and then had to pay them all off because he was guilty as all hell. And the upstanding folks in Cleveland decided to award $230 of guaranteed money to him so I'm sure he's totally learned his lesson.

Im sure your brain is absolutely fried by the concept of nuance, but maybe at least do some basic due diligence before posting in the future

Cleveland is probably going to bring Kareem Hunt back.

Also, never forget that Mike Vick pulled the whole Ron Mexico thing. People get mad about the dogs, but Ron Mexico was pretty heinous.

Thoughts on Justin Fields coaching comments? Really thought Da Bears move in the right direction this year. And their DC resigns . Imploding already

Im fine with JF1 calling out the shitty coaching, seems like Flus pretty much never says anything of substance and some of those play calls were dogshit (not that fields played well Bc he made some dumb decisions too).

More concerned if the D coordinator rumors are true… If they are this may be worse than the Trestman years. The Bears franchise sucks and I hate that I’m a fan.

He resigned. Probably the best thing he could do in the situation.

Yeah chicago really need to perform with the talent they've invested in. As shit as their D is, on paper that team should be able to win shootouts. They have talent at every position (including 3 backs I think could start on most teams) and their run game was almost titan-esque at times last year. Honestly I think they need to go back to just pounding it 50 times a game and control the game clock. Use Foreman as a poor man's Derrick Henry and wear down the D, then Fields and Herbert handle the outside stuff for chunk plays. Roschon can do everything so he could be a specialist third down back and spell the others while getting used to the week to week grind of the NFL.

I have Fields in 2 of my money leagues and I'd be lying if I wasn't getting a little nervous about it haha. I picked up AR15 in one but I'm going to have to seriously consider grabbing Russ/Geno/Purdy or maybe even *shudders with credit commercial ptsd* Baker.

70-20. 726 total offensive yards. That is just brutal lol. Denver’s defensive coordinator will never have a good night’s sleep again after that.

Yes, we tend to have more than one toilet and build museums to our inhabitants that change the world. What a great series of insults. You're really killing me here with these well crafted zingers.

*david attenborough voice* the gormless midwesterner has no natural defense for the marylander’s acerbic wit. thoroughly bested in this exchange, he will return to his ramshackle mountainside lean-to to smoke weed and then write a five paragraph review of the weed to post on an archaic web 1.0 skateboarding forum for some reason

Shhh, I know I'm punching down here, but he keeps saying something progressively stupider with every post and I want to see how far we can go.

New York is closer to Virginia than Maine so it's obviously a southern city and not in the northeast then, right?

If you want to get really specific, we're Mid-Atlantic...but going by the most accurate geographic classification system in US History, wrestling territories, we're northeast.
