480 - New Balance Numeric in Chicago

Is it just me? Or are New Balance videos too HD? My eyes feel weird watching them, like they can't keep up. This happened with those Spain trip edits from a few years ago for me.

It's because it's exported at 24fps. But when you film skateboarding at 60fps with an higher shutterspeed then drop the footy on a 24fps timeline, you will loose some frames. Normally you film with a shutter at 1/50 for 24fps and 1/250 for 60fps

I'm hoping his signature 480 colorway is just a stop gap till they finish producing his signature shoe.

foreal. didn't realize dude is 35 and seems to keep getting better. it helps that he takes such good care of his body with those long ass backpacking trips and bike rides. he's an inspiration. more Ryan Lay makes the world a better place

Close! we shoot in 24fps (and variables of 24fps) and edit in a 24fps timeline. And we also shoot in slower shutter speeds like 1/50.
