Long Lens with a DSLR/Mirrorless
« on: September 18, 2023, 11:43:53 AM »
Anyone have any footage of them shooting long lens with a DSLR/Mirrorless? Specifically utilizing zoom through smoothly via it's ring.

if you have a sony, get the pz 18-105mm for aps-c cameras. its the smoothest out of the pz and not too expensive. works best with the fx30 but any aps-c or full frame cam in super35 mode will do. there are pz lenses for panasonic but they dont really have great range or capability. anything adidas by chris mulhern uses a sony fs5 with that pz lens, and anything by kev perez uses the fx6 with the full frame 28-135 pz. way more expensive setup tho.

Unfortunately I'm rocking with Canon but those PZ adapters look epic. Saw there were Canon ones for EF lenses if I had a non Mirrorless

yeah the canon 18-80 cine zoom is 4600$ lol. some people have done like old zooms with motors but its usually only covers smaller than a micro 4/3rd
