Also I have bingo card when patrick is on :
If he use a football analogy or compare skating with his music carrer, talk about lucas puig, short shorts, diss the music of the video they are talking about and will say « tim and henry » or « rocco ».
Gotta add anytime Patrick uses an opportunity to speak French to that BINGO card too.
I enjoy both podcasts and am confused as to why these two are even being compared since they don't really attempt to have similar content like the various skateboarding interview podcasts (Nine Club, Bunt, Skate Creative, Talkin' Schmitt, etc.).
Mostly Skateboarding is a roundtable discussion focused on recapping the week, current events, and the occasional interview, usually with a non pro/am. When they do interviews, they do a good job finding interesting people who are involved in skateboarding but not paid to skateboard. And they may be the most diverse group speaking on these topics, which is admirable as well.
Dead Air nerds out on trivial skateboarding stuff/nostalgia, product reviews, some current event stuff too. Like Blair Alley said in that Podus Operandi intro, "it's kinda like skateshop talk". If anything, their recent TWS parts and Static series review episodes with Blair makes their show more comparable with "Vert Button" and "All My Skate Videos".
Both approach topics with honest opinions and that's what I appreciate the most.
