I dunno if its his pants, the weird way he holds his right arm, or his knees bowing in like a newborn deer but he makes some really impressive tricks looking boring as shit.

Yeah he's a little stiff (which is not necessarily bad) but it doesn't match the kind of skating he wants to show. During lines it was worse than the single tricks. Still some very impressive skating, especially the last couple of tricks. The editing was kinda boring and uninspiring for a single internet part by adidas/alien.

Interesting how certain tricks were exceptionally better than others. Overall like the dude and always curious to see what he puts out.  No more 180 switch crooks and enough with the right handed fist

I like his skating and this had some really impressive stuff. The 180 switch crook definitely seemed out of place though.

That’s more noseblunts in a single part than I’ve ever seen, but when you have back noseblunts that good I can’t fault you.

Always excited to see what he gets, but yeah his stiff style throws the skating off.

This was sick, he had some really nice moves in here. Definitely some awkward stuff/filler, and lazy edit but I liked it. Fakie “overcrook” the rail was sick

Nollie shuv crook on the pyramid ledges was dope though.

Some very hard tricks. I think the reasons some people don't like his style are:

- Trucks too loose, but he doesn't have so much flow. Some times, it seems as if he's not in total control of his board, as if he just started skating (even though he rips)
- The slightly awkward bending before each trick
- The slightly awkward arms movement when he lands

I guess it just looks like it takes him a tremendous effort to land all tricks - like an anti-Dylan Jaeb or something.

No need to analyze it, guy has a bad style.
It’s not Pudwill bad, but it does take a little out of the footage.
Sick skating though.

Nollie shuv it crooks Pyramid ledges was sick. Kickflip front feeble that yellow rail in Philly was sick too.

He's one of the elite few who can do switch back noseblunts properly from the side. Was kinda expecting him to have one for this part.

Yeah, his style is kinda stiff with some lanky arm steez, but I like his skating. The HD filming isn't helping, the skate sounds are very dull sounding, which kinda downplays the difficulty of the tricks IMO.

Some solid tricks in here.  Like others have mentioned, the nollie shuv crooks on the pyramid ledge was sick.  Alien needs to do another full length already.  Do it proper with a Habitat section - and a Metal section.

I swear he had less little kid style when he was a little kid than he has now. He's like the Benjamin Button of Long Island. Would have been sick if they had kept the other self-scream after the Flushing noseblunt.

That's how you film skateboarding  Nice to see a shoe company make a massive departure from the shoe zoom that has ruined footage for the last few years.  Thank God there is no Dylan footage like that, would be a tragedy. Filmers used to only do too much bullshit in the editing room, hopefully that's where it will stay from now on.

his style ain't that bad but definitely think the editing could've made it a lot better. could barely hear the skate sounds and agree on some clips being filler

Did I enjoy that part? Yes.

Do I think this entire genre of modern Alien Workshop/Adidas/East Coast skating/trick selection that Frankie is showcasing is performed better in every aspect by Joey O’Brien? Yes.

Wonder if he’s gonna go on a podcast and cry about not getting soty for this part like he did about the real street contest.

he really caught me off guard with the screaming, ha ha. that's some selfest and stokest self stoke i've ever seen.

a proper back noseblunt is pretty unbeatable...
