I was gonna say the Knee argument feels a bit dated now. Did he get hurt twice in a row? Skating? Didn't he switch flip a double set in Korea this summer? And then not a single trick in the Adidas thing? Just doesnt really look like a motivated talent held back by inuuries ...

i hate when yall act like all those pro skaters owe you something, it’s been a year without footage, it’s been said multiple times that he’s been injured, and yall are acting like he’s been quiet for a decade.

i get the “it’s their job” argument but i doubt that you guys are buying his shoes or boards or wheels or whatever

“biggest career fumble” my ass, i’m sure he’s still going to be putting out sick footage, let the dude heal

If you haven't had a major knee injury, you probably have no idea how devastating and debilitating it can be, especially to a professional athlete. The expectation that a skateboarder would be able to meet or exceed his or her prior output level or performance standards a mere year or two after a serious ACL rupture is totally unreasonable and outlandish (it basically makes you physically handicapped unless and until you get a surgery -- which may or may not be successful). A smart athlete would take it slow and spend at least two years strengthening the leg and muscles around the knee before even considering getting serious on a board again.

Pure gold - Kader will always be the Kanine Sytta
for me for the rest of time.
I still have hope he get his head up right.
He go back to Stella Reynolds - becomes part owner
of Baker - and will bring 3 x 3 Songs parts out.
One only LA footage with baker boys, one with Bill for supreme - and one only tour footage with Thorsten Frank via adidas.

It's also entirely possible that Kader's knee is completely fucked and that's why he never produces a great part. He'd hardly be the first athlete to injure himself early in his career and then fail to reach their full potential.
This is not my SOTY. I'm telling my kids there was no SOTY for 2021

Oh no he moved from Baker, Vans and Rvca to Violet, Supreme and Adidas.

Wouldn’t everyone?

I mean not the baker one because I love baker and a video with Rowan, Casper, Jacopo, Reynolds, Kader and T Funk would be amazing.
Bc of Supreme he’s still able to make videos with Rowan, Sully, and Casper. Reynolds has been having a guest trick on many company’s full lengths in the last year (including one on ‘Play Dead’). I’m sure we will still see Kader skating with the guys he’s always been cool with from Baker when his knee is back to being better and he gets a bong load in him.

He's floating on that lovely cloud of everyone still hanging onto the chance he'll be an all time great at skating, but he's taken that vibe to heart too quick and using it to capitalise on other opportunities.  He's young enough to still make it happen, but it could just all evaporate if he lets it too far out of his grip.

I'd love to see a great part from him, but can't really see it happening.  Not through lack of anything but want.

1980s football physio over here dropping the knowledge. Two names, just from very recent memory: Cyrus Bennett, Nyjah Houston. Also what part did he drop a year ago? Isn't it more like two to three by now?

Fuck that get some cadaver ligaments in your knee and a tornado ball and get back on the board like a real man like Danny Way.

I don't know why people won't believe the simple truth:
Kader is extremely talented but also very, very unmotivated when it comes to skateboarding at a pro level.

All he wants to do is smoke weed and play golf. Hopefully some day he will get inspired to do his best on his skateboard and it could be amazing. But right now he is not wanting to put in any hard work into skateboarding. He is a stoned, lazy dude.

But, with that in mind, he doesn't owe us or skateboarding anything. If wants to chill on the couch and get faded, that's his prerogative. Follow your bliss, Kader. Follow your bliss.
Warm Up Zone. Let's watch some skateboarding videos.

I am usually not that inspired by younger skaters, but when kader drops some footage i watch it right away. Dude sells boards, is likeable and has a unique style. but i don't believe he will be a soty skater. I don't think he can skate at the highest level. but it doesnt matter, the guy looks sick on a board and seems funny in his own way. keep on pushing kader!

I can trust Kader as far as I can throw him. Which might be pretty far, I’ve been doing push-ups and he seems little.

Adrian Peterson ran for 2k yards less than a year after an ACL tear. I think football is a little harder on your body than skateboarding.

I don’t think his magum opus will be here anytime soon boys. This deep into the game it will require a strict no weed smoking regiment and some kind of vegan diet
