And a Bennett grind is called a Bennett grind because of the back 180. A trick being fakie doesn't remove the need for it to have a bs 180 (or in this case bs half-cab).

i too, would like to know what everyone on this forum thinks of the clip where the person who is named Dashawn Jordan performs a skateboard maneuver in which he rides fakie up to a handrail (likely somewhere within the southern california area, very popular with skateboarders who enjoy its favorable weather all-year round) with his back towards the rail, pops his tail in order to propel himself in an upward motion in an effort to get onto said rail, puts the truck that he lifted into the air first onto said rail, creating friction that he hopes will not be enough to toss his body into the concrete, in fact he hopes that there will be very little friction, to execute a "grind" maneuver, in which this "grind" continues all the way down the length of the rail, until there is no more rail to grind, and he gracefully maintains contact with the skateboard (the thing with four wheels) under him as he falls back to the ground, and rolls away in a visually satisfying display of athleticism.

No it's just a willy grind while going in reverse so fakie willy grind. It's what people have called it since the early 90s. No one's trying to take anything away from dashawn but it's just surprising to see a dork trick done legit.

The music choices in all of Shane’s recent ig clips and the April edits has been so good.

All of this was great. Got me really wanting Shane and guys parts to be like a split promo vid. Shane upgrading his pants game the last few years has made his style so good.

This is clearly an edit for the Nike Dunk but April uploaded and the video doesn’t even have a link to snkrs app or Nike or anything. Interesting marketing move. Maybe Nike knows no one is getting dunks retail anyway and just let April handle the footage for the promo.

It’s kinda pure. Fantastic team, good vids, bland brand. Id rather fuck with this than these edgy lifestyle brands like supreme, fa etc.
April is about skateboarding and not the cool guy scene. I like.

Normally I enjoy your posts, but this is one of the most wrong takes I've seen here. As Coldbrew said, to be a Bennett grind you need to bs 180 in the obstacle you want to grind. Are you also saying that if he had done it frontside it would be a fakie Barley grind?

World Skate, the governing body for all Sports performed on skating wheels, has decreed that due to widespread confusion as well as distaste stemming from Cab's thirstiness, any "fakie"-related nomenclature will be erased from skating wheel sports. What was previously known as "fakie" will now be known as "switch nollie" for any and all trick names and resulting combinations.

World Skate has gone on to say that they look forward to this new age of understandable, logical trick names, and that it is long overdue.
