ABG bought board riders, then took away all of the rider budget, no one got "kicked off" but they werent gonna stay for no money, there are people who are still on getting nothing waiting it out, no one at dc wanted anyone to leave but abg took all the money away. All the up top left for other jobs in fear of getting laid off. its insane they cut so much money and let many office people go and it just still doesnt seem like its enough for them. There are still good people in there who got everything thrown on their plate that are trying to save everything that got built back up over the recent years.

If they’ve sacked the entire team then I could see Jahmir on Adidas, not sure where Shanahan would go but he deserves a solid home (maybe NB) and it sucks for him because he just got a shoe last year. Kalis is one of my all time favorites but I don’t see him getting another shoe this late in the game.

There's a banner running on the website saying they're moving warehouse.

And that looks like a totally new website? Does not look like the site from a couple weeks ago.

Edit: and there's no apparel.

All of their OG releases got sent to ruze. They were supposed to drop a new Lynx OG, Williams, and Truth, but randomly the truth and Williams appeared on the site on the 29th and sold out immediately. Unsure if they've cancelled these releases or not, but I know there is an unreleased JS-1 color way, another cancelled Jahmir color way, and a signature Lucien shoe that is MIA

This dude is the worst. He got into the biz originally by stiffing a snowboard factory on a bill in the 90's, and just got bigger and shittier over the years from there.

as ANYONE got into the dcshoes.com new site?
theres no team page, not even using the riders for the ads
pro shoes are "reserve"... kinda a collabo? stuff thats months old... wtf?

I found the new website really hard to navigate on my cellphone. Like I wanted to just scroll up, but it kept making me accidentally select and open the pages for various shoes.

The write up for that new Kalis shoe in the skate catalog says "Inspired by the Truth OG" and "Josh Kalis approved." but it's called the Ascend and doesn't have Kalis' name on it. Also there's colours in the mainline catalog and that one doesn't mention Kalis at all.

Also there's a skate photo of Shanahan on the first page but no Shanahan shoe in the catalog.

Not saying any of this means anything because if the catalogs are being put together by non skaters they may just be a mess but I'm not saying it doesn't mean anything either.

Hell no hahaha.

We carried them forever ago, dropped them, then picked them up again right when the Lynx was coming out again. Around that time they had a bunch of good people working for them and were really easy to deal with and supported the shop well. Then it just turned into a nightmare to deal with and the shoes were stinking up the place so we dropped them again. That was at least 5-6 years ago.

We're a mid-sized town in the prairies of Saskatchewan though and the only people coming in asking for DC are looking for nasty shit like the Court Graffik. Mall stores don't even carry DC here anymore.
