Delighted to hear things are actually ok. As a someone who loves chunky shoes (DC, Etnies, etc.), that's reassuring to hear.

Yeah, they've gulped up these brands into their licensing portfolio. Shocking when you consider that Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong, and even RVCA were massive at one point, used to absolutely dominate in surfing. ABG's entire business model is to just make money off doing as little as possible and earning their money from licensing. Quality and ethics are probably their last concern. ABG at one point even sued Laila Ali for trying to trademark her own name because her dad's name was among their licenses. Going to be interesting to see how this pans out.

If you're referring to Sully Cormier he was never on DC. Vans flow > Asics last I saw but LRAB is a cooler fit for Stu Kirst/Sully both

I don't think anyone is really under the delusion that DC is "fine", obviously dropping a majority of your riders is not a good sign given their VC overlords, but fuck it, I still want a pair of OG Lynx (not the damn Lynx Zero) so I can wax in nostalgia some more before reverting back to my current reality.

I'm with gsosa on this one. Wes Kremer, Evan Smith, Josef Scott, Jaakko Ojanen, Alexis Ramirez.... List goes on, they all ripped and entertaining to watch. Bummer they couldn't keep them on. I also rocked their shoes and this maybe an unpopular opinion but I loved all the Wes Kremer vulc models. Still skate them when I can find them. Never cared for their chunky shoe reboot.
