You were supposed to understand they went to an island in the middle of nowhere and got whatever footage they could.

Wholesome stuff. I've never been to Christmas Island but have been skating in some other similar places in the Indo Pacific and the spot hunting is always lots of fun

It also looked rough. Made out of steel?

Also I think they were there to build a park/do some work with kids. Which is cool.

But complaining about a trick someone did is valid too.

They used it in 2020 to quarantine arrivals back from Wuhan as the pandemic was kicking off. But I think immigration detention closed before then.

For people outside Oz, Christmas Island has a long history of being used for our gov’s pretty fucked mandatory detainment of asylum seekers.

Respect to Passport for doing stuff in communities like this and the NT.

Also, those giant hermit crabs regularly grow up to 3ft, which is insane.

that kid at the demo exclaiming "best monday ever" was hella cute.

that entire video was a really great vibe. Music was beautiful, those pools looked fun.

Hats off to Pass~Port for releasing three proper videos all with a different focus in the last months.

To expand on this “pretty fucked”= brutal, violent, in violation of international law, extremely expensive, ineffective and immoral.

How adorable was it when the kid ran up and gave him a big ol hug?

Adelaide's gap to back noseslide on the remnants of what looks to be a hubba was so gnarly.
