I've had MRSA. MRSA gets to surgery level within 2 weeks. I had MRSA and after 9 days the doctor told me that death was a possibility if we took more than a week to do surgery. It is extremely painful and I doubt if it is MRSA that he would not be able to work with it.

It could be staph or some other skin infection though. Some people get marks like you describe from drug use.

MRSA is a staph infection, in this case though, it probably wasn't MRSA, but who knows if he never got it cultured.

 You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.
