Lame title but I can't be alone in watching his part and thinking: this guy isn't even am, if this is his flow-level stuff, where does he imagine taking it for an eventual push to pro? he's so gnarly already (and he's been gnarly for a while), so versatile, so fully formed in his riding style. Where does he get the motivation to go as hard as he does? If you don't even have a board sponsor for the kind of riding this kid is putting down over several years, how does that not entirely fuck you off from the game? How does he live? Profitable shoe contract I don't know about? Rich parents? I'd kinda get it if he was 18 but he was 18 in those Brute edits I watched and loved a good bunch of years ago. By know he must be solidly adult, he certainly skates like an adult, but his career seems to be stuck in perpetual prodigy 16-year old "bright future but not sure where" territory. I hope for him the sci-fi rumours are true but Jerry seems to go for character over skills and if there's one thing he doesn't exactly shine in, it's that.
