Anybody know what it is? He reviewed all the decks and shoes that have already been know, so it seems like it’s something different

My local didn't have any skateshop day stuff so I grabbed a heated wheel people mover 90's egg, F4 spits that were on sale as I'm the only one who uses classics around here and the new concrete jungle foundation book. Stoked to try the deck tomorrow.

And don’t forget that there are a ton of core shops out there even if your closest local is a a dumb Zumies or Sports Basement: the Shop Lurker site went live to the public recently & is a pretty rad & easy to use way to shop multiple store fronts at once. Yeah, I saw shops putting a one board limit on this stuff... I didn't rally early enough to go on the hunt of the good stuff but will likely swing by a local later for little 'pick me up.'

I got the holographic Krooked deck, gold Ishod deck, the Jimmy Wilkins board, and a set of the Hockey 159ers. The Ishod board is the only one I’m not skating. I have doubts on my orders getting fulfilled since I’m not a local to any of the shops I ordered from.

I went with the idea I was only going to get the Gonz but couldn't help myself when I saw the Lance.

The bearings are cool as they're engraved with the shop's (Manifest, Durham, NC) name.

From what I"m seeing a lot of shops only got 2 of each (gonz/lance) boards different color ways. Saw 2 Jerry's, 4 Ishods and a bunch of dlx ssd boards. So it's slim pickings out there.

Aaaaand I'm already seeing people unloading on ebay

I passed by earlier. Someone walking out when I was walking in, bought the one DLX SSD board in the size I wanted ha! I think the shop only had 2 of of the Lance and Mark boards as well. Didn't see the Jerry board at all. Less product floating around? I'm looking at the site for another shop right now and they still have the 2023 boards sitting around. That stinky graphic didn't help I take it.

Ebay already has a Lance board for 300 dollars as mentioned above

But still it was nice to stop by and say hi. I bought a shop board and shirt.

Went out looking for a blonde bottom Lance x grimple board, came up short. I got overexcited on SSD last year so trying to keep it mellow this year.

Yeah I guess there is no rule on anything, so it is whatever the shops want to do, so if someone wants to buy them all, the shop will take the money, but generally it is more cool that they do sell only one of the really special ones each, unless someone is setting them up in store.

I remember some places were making people skate the Grosso boards before they leave, just so they don't resell them.

Any which way, there seem to be a lot of shops listing them online, which I thought was kind of NOT the point, but whatever hey. Even some shops which had them up the day or so before in the online stores too.

I think it is rad that there are these boards out there, the special colab ones in particular, but sucks some people have already snapped them up to then list for twice the price on ebay or where ever else.

no actually the dude is a big collector, drives for 3 hours pretty often to get full board series. even showed me some pics of his board wall at home

honestly decks don’t even sell that well here, still have both ishod decks laying around so if he hadn’t bought those we’d still have all of them laying around.

Drove up from LA to Portland today and stopped at a couple shops on the way. Ended up with a gonz, an orange shod and a SSD shop shirt. i really wanted the gold Ishod, but finally seeing a True Fit in person was enough to make me pull the trigger

I feel like I still see some of the non-limited skateshop day 2022 and 23 decks around that never sold. Glad they are only offering limited runs that will actually sell now

Went to my local in LA, Marriage, to grab a couple boards and some bigger wheels for an upcoming skate trip. Grabbed the shirt and sweatshirt too just because. Got the Orchard/Anti Hero boards in the mail yesterday too; I still consider them one ofy local shops even though I moved to the other side of the country

Got myself the greenish/blue grimple stix. I’m not sure which trucks / wheels I’ll get yet (from my locals as well !)
I was thinking about 58mm soft wheels (no idea which) and either film trucks or ace, to make it a nice cruiser
