Careers that petered/flamed out

The caleb barnett discussion got me thinking about other guys you were high on when they first came on the scene and than ultimately just flamed out  and became a bit of a bust

Jake donnelly for mine came out on fire in since day one, had that buffalo part 10 years ago, and a shared part in away days, and more or less nothing since, barely on any of the Real or addidas trips, he doesnt have a real board out at the moment, and from what i can tell hasn't had a board since early 2022...

Im assuming you mean Kenny Hoyle. I got the impression it was bad luck mixed with bad timing. He had some bad ankle injury that he had surgery on and while he was out Kayo dumped Expedition and he was left high and dry. I hope he still skates, he was great on the board

I surfed for split when Colin was on the team as a kid and he also grew up down two doors down from my wife all I can say was he was under a intense amount of pressure from his dad and sponsors at a young age none of the drinking surprise’s me, but he was always humble and kind.
