Seems like they didn’t renew his contract or maybe couldn’t come to terms on a new deal. I can see Ryan being the type of guy not settling for less than what he was already getting paid, which was probably inflated. And Etnies seems to be trying to cut costs and salvage what they can for Soletech. Kinda weird Wahlberg started making shoes when he has deep connections with Jordan. Infinitely cooler and I’d assume more lucrative than starting a shoe company that will probably go under.

hate to bump a thread thats been inactive for a few days, but it looks like dude genuinely thought he could be on both without it being a conflict of interest

That's what I thought he meant.

Being on etnies and having a chiller with another brand. After 27yrs I would of let him do it. What'sthe risk?

Would of maybe brought more people to etnies as apposed to lossing skaters to municipal.

I doubt thats gonna be a real situation for most skaters.
