Connor Champion for Grand Collection

I remember being maybe a little star struck asking this guy for a shoe off the wall at Vertical Urge when I was like 13. He’s a North Carolina legend. It’s very cool to see him skateboarding all over the world. Wade clips too.

I share that I remember being hyped to run into a skateboarder that was popular in our state when I was a kid and you respond with this shit? You’re such a hateful little shit.

Being from the southeast and traveling and working throughout the entire region for decades, there are two types of people when it comes to skateboarding in virginia, n. + s.carolina: those who appreciate the guys who were way ahead of their time and continue to skate - paved the way for a younger generation and inspired the ones in theirs, and those who never got the appropriate attention from them and are now resentful of their past and current successes.

Always liked this guys skating, never really understood why he didn't get a shot on a legit brand.

Grand Collection looks cooler in my eyes now.

Dude has always oozed style and trick selection, very sweet that they hooked him up with a pro board. It’s tough out there to make it as a ledge/tech skater, everybody and their mom got flip in flip out shit

Him ah fall off building an bumboclot him legs

Damn. Looking back… I always thought it was just the times…

But there was a whole lot of cool guying going on back then… ha

I was surprised to hear Connor come up again, I never met him and just saw his clips on Post22, Carolina Love, etc. but never met him. Heard he was a monster to see in person skate, like most really talented skaters. That whole Vertical Urge/Endless Grind team was really good.

Check in from NC Skates team would be rad, too.
Another brand new account coming in on some absolute fuck shit
