I feel like this guy is the chase webb pre-horrible incidents coming to light to Dylan Jaeb’s Nyjah. Like, objectively a top 0.01% skater but might not get the shine he deserves being in the same crew

Odds of Gage Boyle ever turning pro for Real just dropped significantly
[close]

I had the same thought about him and Christian Henry.

But like others said Hermann deserves it.

Hermann and Toby should be for sure pro. Gage is alright but not that well rounded and Christian Henry should get a REAL job, the fake steeze noseslides will only get you so far.

You’re trippin. Christian Henry is dope. No fake steez detected. Almost feel like he’d be better on a different team because good luck getting shine next to Ishod & Mason and all them but I like him for the way he skates not because he does the gnarliest shit

ughhhhhh i don't like being negative, though i just gotta vent about the music. it was so incredibly distracting (i honestly don't understand how anyone can enjoy those kinds of vocals) that i zoned out. to my ears it feel to be musically at odds with what sounds pleasant to me. this shit is too white for me.

okay, gonna watch again muted with some better music playing. i really wanna like this part based on what i've seen on him before.

It was difficult for me to enjoy this part when so many tricks were ruined by shitty filming.

If I'm watching a clip and thinking about the filmer then they did a bad job.  Unless it's Chris Gregson.

That was so … boring

You need help. I didn’t mind the music, but realize that’s a very subjective matter. But anybody hating on the skating in this part is a literal idiot. So fucking good. Go Toby.

tbh as much as this guy and others like him shred, the shorter height/lower center of gravity makes this style of skating less impressive to me

The fact that he went from doing 15-foot 540s on the mega ramp to Nollie Backside Flipping Wallenberg within 5 years is truly remarkable

undeniably talented but whole thing felt lifeless idk

also if Real turns this grom pro before Hermann, we riot!

My first thought watching this was “ they’re gonna turn this kid pro before that laundry list of ams that have been on for years”   I wonder what’s worse career wise - Crail flow or real am since both are such notorious purgatories.

Kids real good tho.

Feel like there’s a lot of dudes all look/dress/skate similar - Jack O’Grady, Rowan Davis, this guy. Although this guy had way crazier tricks I thought.

Trash edit & filming, the flip front nosegrind on the pink/red thing in particular was awful

“Actual good skating” wtf does that even mean. Sounds like you’re just hating on anything trendy and throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Don’t pay nocomly180 any attention. Despite his username, the dude is an old head type with very archaic standards of skating. You’ll find him hating on anything “trendy” at any possible opportunity.

Heard. I’m from the late 90’s/early 2k era as well but it’s wild to me that people just stay locked into a time period and expect everyone that comes after them to do the same.

If Dylan Jaeb and Jimmy Cao had a child, and raised it somewhere with a couple of good rails, this would be him.

I did like the frontside 180 onto the block off the stairs in SF, hard trick to make look good but that 180 was 10/10

I thought the whole part was great including the music, kid's a goddamn beast. One of the best parts of the year. Thankfully his name isn't Maxon Brocken or something.

But yeah, I do wonder how hard he's made it for the flow and am squad to move up.

I watched on mute like I watch almost every video unless it's from a specific filmer that I know picks good music.

All I saw was some of the craziest skating. Hopefully someone does a better job filming and editing him to satisfy those of you who weren't content with this AM intro part.

I was bummed to see him missing from sk8mafia until I found out he jumped ship to REAL. He's definitely got the skills to pay the bills.

I’m so sick of the ender being the thumbnail for the video part.

To be fair it had a whole spread in thrasher like 8 months ago. But agreed.

That was so … boring
This part review…lacked taste.

That was one of the sickest switch backside flips ever towards the ends.  I wish they showed another angle or sll mo’d that clip.  It just flew by.
