I saw a kid being mean to a cat today. I was unable to say anything as it definitely would have caused an uproar. I'm ah wimpy like that. Always over reacting etc.

So I made eye contact finally and boom they knew a problem was about to happen and stopped teasing the poor grumpy diabetic cat who's had surgery this year from a blockage on Easter.

Man I wanted to focus my plate on the table and go HEY KID! LEAVE THAT CAT ALONE MAN! If I was young and full of juice still that's exactly what I would have done.

The rest of the visit was sick. One of the girls is interested in skating kinda. She's too young to follow instructions like that. It's gotta be dedication and pain this time. Hope if I died tomorrow they'd chase it.

I know it shouldn't matter to me but I really wish I had an all girl skate posse. I feel like that would be the sickest shit on earth.

i observed/overheard two late 30s/early 40s dads having a skate conversation today. neither of them were skating, this was just on the street, outside a clothing store my lady was in. both of them were wearing quite high heeled leather boots. there was nothing good or bad about it, but there was something i suppose kind of jarring, or maybe just a mildly comical juxtaposition, between their shoes and their conversation.

As a 30+ year old man what shoes am I supposed to wear? All my colleagues are wearing the latest sneaker head trends. Wether I'm at the park or a grocery store or god forbid a fucking office it's just old ass heads in expensive sneakers for day. Am I supposed to wear loafers? Do I buy boat shoes?
