I lived in LA for a few years and moved to Kansas. One of the most striking differences was that in Kansas people listened, rather than waiting for their turn to talk...

People who text you first to hang out.  People who set up small gatherings.  It doesn't matter how small or insignificant either of these are, it's too easy for people to isolate these days.

People who find reasons to like new people.  There's enough people to organically hate, I don't care if they're a dork or their art sucks.

People with good conversation etiquette.

Being nice(r). I come from a culture where joking around with insults etc is more than normal and def have done it too much myself over the years so can't be too down on people for it but I def notice when other people just don't do this.

Ok the same note I respect people who have their plate full and don't have time to hangout, I know it's a bummer it just seems like one too many people have crossed the line and I'm not an asshole just firm boundaries for myself and others.

Maybe I'm projecting my own flaws here, it just seems that I've had enough time to really enjoy myself as opposed to the company of others (distractions from avoiding my own flaws and whatnot) , not that I'm smug so much so I can be attentive and active listener but also know when its time to bounce peacefully without too much disinterest.

I like when a hug is a person's genuine reaction to seeing you, obviously within reason.

Not being contentious when being advised by your supervisor (currently a hot button topic in my workplace)

Skating, or doing other hobbies, simply for the fun of it. Seeing people beaming doing what they love gets me stoked.
