That view of the ground at 7:25, looks like every tile was hit by a bomb - "had to avoid a trench of missing tiles".  So inspiring to see someone so enthusiastic and adaptive in working around the roughness

Yes, username checks out - loved Dom Henry's penchant for the crust: "the more cracks the cooler the sound" - well put!

Best series out there, great to see the UK get some shine on it.

Loved both Paul Shier parts in Waiting For The World and Static 2, you know you're getting his noseslide / crook / fakie flip / 360 flip, but how and where he does them is always a treat.

it's kind of funny - most "favorite spots" guests harp on how awful the spot in question is and what a chore it can be to skate, and dom would be fully justified playing that card here, but instead he's psyched on the culture of the spot and grateful to have been a part of its legacy. great watch (and skating, obviously).

So sick. Even by the late 2000s footage here looked the like ground was basically gravel. How these dudes were going mach 10 and getting lines there is a mystery to me.

That's why they're paid to ride their skateboard and I'm paid to look at spreadsheets and do Teams meetings all day.

Speaking of which I wanted to take the opportunity to talk about your TPS reports. The cover page format is all wrong. It’s like you don’t care.

I've never been there but this spot will always remind me of Paul Shier's part (9.50) in Blueprint's WFTW. The ledge section is at 10.38

Such a classic spot, bringing back so many memories of Shire's proper spanking of the spot in WFTW. Dom is a seriously classy skater and the reverence for the spot's history and culture is admirable. When I was finally able to get my hands on a VHS copy around the time it came out, probably out of sheer luck and coincidence that Eastern Boarder carried Blueprint in and around '01, I'd watch this video every day. I had just gone to London for the 1st (and only) time not long before that and just got so psyched on the British scene, the spots, the atmosphere, the fact that it always seemed dreary and the ground was similar to what we had in New England. Then I put an onion on my belt, which was the style at the time.

Scott Palmer's part in that was all-time too, love that guy.

This all just reminds me how rad Blueprint was between this and the Lost and Found era, Magee was on another level.

Epic effort by Dom Henry to get all that footage despite the state of the place. While we are on the subject here is another Shier part with plenty of Fairfields action.
