Corey Duffel Appreciation.
Cheshire Cat:
He will always be a favourite of mine and always went hard and produced great parts.
Going bigger than Zero when all Zero were known for was going big.
The weird lanky style and eccentric wardrobe were part of the appeal, but really his skating was just always impressive. It has been really heartwarming seeing his skating / career evolve and have such longevity.
I'll leave posting his video parts to someone who knows how to embed properly. I tried for a few minutes there and had no luck!

Duffel was the local pro where I grew up, probably the first pro/am skater I saw in person. He did a bunch of tricks on this hubba in my hometown in the mid 2000s, and it was this really tall, skinny, stucco hubba that no one else touched - because it was fucked. Always skated to great songs and out so much footage. His That’s Life part is such a classic. I will always have a big appreciation for the Duffman.

These two parts coming out in the same year made quite the impression on 14 year old me.
Two TWO song parts was not something pro's were doing at the time, and sure as shit not close together let alone the same year.
His parts never disappointed either, although I think his Cataclysmic Abyss part didn't hit me as hard after those 2004 parts, before becoming one of my favourite parts.
