Graffiti, flyer design, music, photography/videography, scraping with a piece of metal the ledges of your neighborhood… I consider them skateboarding adjacent. In fact, I started playing guitar because I wanted to make punk rock music like the music used in skate videos. Same with photography.
When I couldn’t skate during my childhood I played Tony Hawk video games. Later, when I quit skateboarding because of knee pain, I ride bmx flatland and also tried aggressive inline looking for the same feelings but lower impact. Nowadays, when I can’t skate I just visit SLAP, play Session with my son or buy some deck or skate tee.
