Tempted to go back to my teenage years and buy a backpack that can hold a skateboard.

Owner of my local gave me his fairdale rack. The bungie cord broke on him but I just use a old bmx tube and a bit of wire (like from a coat hanger or whatever you got kicking about). I'd zip-tie it on the frame helps it from being stolen and less noisy.

I bought a panner (is that the correct word) bag for the other side last weekend. Was like 14 euro, fits all the stuff you normally would put in your skate bag plus water and beer. So much nicer not having a backpack on...way too hot for one now.
No clue why I didn't get this set-up before...

Sweet ass bike bro, you can also use military surplus as a cheaper option for bags, usually they have a universal attachment system that works pretty well with bikes, maybe not as waterproof, maybe not as “cool” but just another option to consider, I have a couple bags I attached to my lil city cruiser, I’m still working on a bag for myself to carry my board, will post when I’m done with it

An alternative option to the ones listed above. Made in Saskatoon, Canada. Highly back Skate Diamond, super quick to slide the board in, stable on the bike, and doesn't get in the way. I've had mine for a few years now and have not one negative thing to say about em.

+1

I just bought this, install took 5 seconds and the board is secure and doesn't stick out.

Seriously, it just hook onto your rear basket thing (you need at least that) and then velcro it so it doesn't unhook. No screws necessary.

There is most likely a universal front/back mount for any bike. A bungee cord. All available on amazon. I'll ride to a spot with the board on my back and end up with a sweaty board. And then you leave even sweatier. I'm not about that. So I went to a bike store and bought a rear mount. Not only can I put my board on there. I can ride to the store, steal a milk crate and strap that on the back.
We rode 7.5's" and didn't complain.

I see a lot of people do this (above), but I could never figure it out with the bungie. It either sticks out way too much or it requires a ton of loops with the bungie and takes forever to put in and out.

I'm settling on simply getting a basket and laying it over the basket "in line" with the bike itself. May stick out a little on the back but whatever.

If anyone knows how to do it the way Max Palmer does it in the image above, let me know.

This is what I was thinking

I like just pinning it between my bum and my 70s moped seat.

I miss that thing more than most things. I need a range extender so I can film
