I met Lui Elliot at a random house party in Long Beach in 2023. We smoked for a bit and shot the shit... I had no idea who he was at the time, but he seemed like a cool guy. A few hours later, he introduced me to his girlfriend and asked if I wanted to have sex with her... I declined and he got pissed at me, told me that I would forever be a virgin (I was dating my future wife at the time), and left in a huff. To this day it was one of the strangest experiences of my life, made even weirder when I found out who he was.

I’m gonna be biased here……
I’ve known Lui since he was about 15 or 16, was someone I skated with about every weekend say 10 years ago. Lui was a super polite kid growing up and always seemed to know which doors to open when it came to the industry, whether it be skating or just LA networking in general. There’s thousands of kids in LA just like him that didn’t use any of their resources when it comes to getting some type of industry job. Skateboarding industry isn’t a goldmine but he’s played his cards a lot better than just milking being in flow purgatory till you’re 30 and having to move out of LA to Lancaster and work construction.
