It was a hefty affair as far as I remember - airsoles in the heel and ball of the shoe, but that was standard issue back then anyway.  He was supposed to have a second one, but got the boot just before it came out.

Ray Barbee in some way had 3 vans, they've done 2 skate hi's with his graphic and a pair of slip ons. Their was a wierd period when vans gave a bunch of people pro shoes that were variations of the Fairlane. I don't think anyones name was on them though.
The Rob Welsh lakai thing the Newports ran out at Lakai super quick so hopefully he made some money off of that.
Just checked my closet and found both of Guy Mariano's axion pro models haha.
