People should skate their age. It’s sad seeing someone over 35 trying to huck themselves down stairs or struggle to skate some giant ledge. I believe you should skate for as long as physically possible but it’s weird watching an older guy try to skate like a 20 year old. I’m not saying you’re restricted to curbs or bowls but just keep it tasteful and realistic.
lmao i used to know one of those, he was a total snake too
Solid FS5050 on a low ledge > Throwing a bigflip noseslide for hours that has a 1% chance of actual sticking, much less landing
There's this guy I see around here who
exclusively tries psycho flip-in tricks on ledges and rails without coming even remotely close. He does it for hours, and every time he doesn't magically land one he sorta like studies the spot and shakes his head as if it's some kind of anamoly. I don't really care how good someone is or isn't, but it baffles me how much he'll do this. I see him fairly often, and I have literally never seen him land a trick. Not even a flatground kickflip in between tries, or a warm-up 5050 on the same ledge he expects to kickflip back noseblunt. I probably wouldn't pay much mind to him if he seemed to be enjoying himself even a tiny bit, but he seems absolutely miserable every time.
