why do people like him so much? i really havent seem that much stuff from him that seemed to have an outstanding style. his photosynthesis part, his mosaic part, mostly everything else he's had i don't see too much good stuff in. he did have a couple good lines and tricks at love, like the switch frontside 180 to nosemanny revert, and he had some good tricks in mosaic, like the flushing meadows line, the backside flip, and the switch ollie around the end. he also had that chocolate ad, the kickflip at the verizon banks, which was gnarly as shit, but i don't see why rob pluhowski doesn't get as much attention, he has a great style, and neither of them seem to try to get coverage for shit.

im not trying to talk shit but it just seems like pops gets way more hype than he should be getting.

Yea he seems pretty comfortable on the board.

I think theyre both (Pop and Pluhowski) are pretty good. Solid east coast style.

all that comes to mind when i have the pops argument is that 5050 he did on the big white rail. i cant think of a single other thing from him that stood out besides aolmost switchflipping the love park set.

papps seriously floats on his skateboard, has one of the nicest switch flicks nowadays, skates on the roughest shit around, is selective with his coverage, hunches on his board but in the right way (no dope dances for him) and east coast. he doesn't need to have 2 sequences monthly and a video part every couple months for others to be able to tell he's fucking for real. a pro's pro. what more do you fucking want? critiqueing a flip trick up a damn 5 stair?

stick to copycatting what those older guys mention.

im not saying he isn't good, like i said he has a good style with a lot of tricks and he does have a good set of tricks, i just don't think he should have as much hype and praise as you guys give him.
