Remember "stoked" ads that used to be in old issues of skateboarder? They were those shitty computer animated pictures of some dragonball Z motherfucker doing a 3 flip.

"Our mission: To keep you STOKED"

I think it was a sticker company.

Stoked365 was the name of it.
Those ads were amazing, my friends and I had them all up on the wall.

i think the yellow ads are suppose to shitty on purpose. although really doesnt help them out much. i cant imagine anyone would get psyched and buy one of their decks with adds like that. shame cause they have a ton of potential with the team they have.

^^^^ Do board advertisements really sway you to buy a specific brand?

I can see clothing companies doing more "lifestyle" type adverts because they're trying to sell a certain type of image.

I find brands that have some consistency to their ads, pretty cool.

I'd buy their boards if I'd get my hands on them. Thought it's not just the ads - I've been psyched on the videos too.

But to me there is nothing wrong with the ads, really. They are different and that's a good thing.

By the way Alien and Habitat have had some pretty shitty ads lately...ain't no one fillin up Don's shoes properly.

I think ads are just one component that helps your decision to either like or dislike a company.
